Unsure of where the road

Will take me

But I know

Where I want to go

Still learning how

To draw the map

Attaining skills

I sometimes lack

The courage

To step up

Instead of backward

Now I have learned

To not fear failure

So much as to not try

If needed I'll find

My hidden strength

Stored and waiting

To be drawn upon

In thanks I will

Appreciate

Each small grace

As it takes place

And experience

All feeling

Unabashed

Grateful

To have

Every moment

I'm given

A choice

I choose

To enjoy

The ride

On the 11th Day (of playing trombone)

Aloha Friends- 

I have made the best crazy decision of my life & bought a trombone even though I'd never played a brass instrument before... 

Now I am in love!!!

At first I sounded like someone doing bad things to an elephant, but now I'm starting to get the hang of it!!

Sunrise Along the Riverside

Seeing the sun rise

From along the riverside

A new crescent moon

Riding high

Still up in the sky

Periwinkle pale-yellow peach

As the sun begins its' reach

To come upon

True dawn

The risen river rushes

Reflecting
