Divine Lucidity

-part 1-

Creation is divine
Like sweet ambrosia wine
I wish for lucidity
In every dream that comes
To be
Awake in my sleep
Able to fly free
In the present
Each moment is
A gift God's given me
Endlessly
Sometimes I feel let down
Though eventually
I always come around
To see with retrospect
That everything has reason
And no experience has defect
We are the saboteurs'
Of self treason
As we question,
And react with agression
As though there were-
Nothing to believe in
When there is always
A new moment to begin

 -part 2-

The feel of breath on skin
What soon shall begin?
If never
Was a person or place
Could you recognize its' face?
If possible
Would you dare go there?
And how would you prepare?
For the journey
I am a part of all there is
All there is was and will be
Is there to make an impression
On me
Even you are me,
I see-
Reflected in your eyes
And it's no big surprise
We accept our part,
Taking our roles to heart
In never we've come to stay-
To never we go to play
But never shall we ever sever
Our silver lining-
Remotely signing
The way for us to go-
And teaching us all we know,
By pulling us to and fro

Give Me - The Divine Mystery

Seemingly we saw
Eye to eye
Now I find all my
Attempts at communication
Deemed unworthy
Of garnering reply
Nevermind the bother
The fears of those who saw her
Open and exposed
While fully clothed
Sheathed and wreathed
In truth untimely
Too soon to name
No one wins this game
Of cold shoulders
Shrugging away chances
At intensifying
These tango dances
Quick on their feet
These minds meet
Without time to pause
For a shared cause
An even exchange

Revelations uprooted
Before they could grow
Gumption
Learning to function
As whole entities
The ego says let go
I need no
Other spirit to survive
So full in and of myself
Nothing matters, no one else
Progress will stagnate
With those who fail
To relate

Bodhisattva
Teach me
Of the divine mystery
In the grand scheme of things
Give me the joy
Appreciation and love bring
Goals worthy
Of accomplishing
Ideas and dreams shared
Frequencies dared
To humble
Releasing fears of distance
Dread of failure
A new composition
Good premonition
Felt within
Now can begin
The path from exile
Traversing this track
There’s no looking back
Without retrospect
No regret
These lessons are worthy
Of the pain
These lessons are worthy
Of the time
The full time taken to learn
All these unspoken, related themes
Connecting things
Mirroring
The drive
To keep ourselves alive
Growing consistently
Bodhisattva
You and me

Enveloped

I, I want to be excited,
I want to be enthralled-
I want to breathe life in,
And taste it with my all-
And waste it not at all
And I can feel her inside-
More alive than I remember before,
More intrinsic to my being
More casual than debating
New thoughts I'd tried erasing
New levels I've found elating,
New revelations- no more waiting!
Live without a known rating,
Live I continue creating
Live for the knowledge I'm currently baiting
Enveloped by the love I see-
Enveloped by the breeze around me,
Enveloped by the light and the energy
Home where ever I may be,
Home alone going crazy
Home is a residence inside me
Why don't you come along, I'm sure you'll see-
Why, it's high time you felt free
Why, how should it ought to be?
I don't always make perfect sense-
I don't always act so dense,
I don't always pattern the rhyme
But I always try to have a good time
But I always try to save my, or your
Butt, I into conversations-
Speaking about lost nations,
Speaking about new excitations
Speaking with interesting relations
Not knowing what will happen next-
Not knowing where the mystery will lead me,
Not knowing the gist of your mystery
Finding relief in breathing-
Finding freedom in movement-
Finding ecstasy in dreams
Looking at the world in new reverie,
Looking at myself quite differently
Looking to understand everything-
Behind what you say to me,
Behind me in my memory
Behind my assurance
Ahead in the distance
A head in the clouds-
Ahead of the crowds
